Our current activities include:
→Transition Town Kerikeri cafe - 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month @ Pukewhau Hall, behind Kerikeri Organics, top of Bull's Gorge. 7pm, koha for refreshments and hall hire.
→ Film Screenings as scheduled - see event calendar
→ Holding skill workshops such as Mending, Tool Sharpening, Bread making, Sustainable housing
→ Supporting 350 and the efforts to come to a climate action agreement at Copenhagen
→ Supporting Jayride - catch a ride or carpool your commute to reduce your carbon footprint, save petrol, time and money. http://www.jayride.co.nz/

Our current projects include:
→Bay of Islands Community Exchange - facilitates the exchange of local goods and services among the Bay of Islands communities using a complementary mutual credit currency, the BOIDOL. http://www.boice.co.nz
→Kerikeri Youth Centre Charitable Trust - aims to establish a facility for youth recreation, relaxation, education and industrial activity.
→Introducing an OOOBY stall at Kerikeri Farmers Market where people can take their surplus garden produce.
→Working in awareness with Aroha Island Eco-centre and supporting courses in Herbal manufacturing etc.
→Working with FNDC to develop policies focusing on energy efficiency and sustainability

Our current dreams include:
→ Working towards a community bank
→ Establishing education initiatives that support our purpose in schools, northtec and workplaces.
→ Putting together an Energy Descent Action Plan
→ Gathering the voices of our elders and our youth and celebrating the purposeful activity these groups offer our community.
