FAMILY SEEKS USE OF LAND IN EXCHANGE FOR FRUIT AND VEG 

I am an experienced vegetable gardener looking for the use of about 2 acres within 1.5 hours of Dunedin, to create a small scale organic farm sufficient to feed up to 3 families all year round. 

In exchange, I propose to share the fresh healthy fruit, veg and meat with the landowner who would also benefit from the resulting improvement to their land.

Using a natural organic and ethical approach (Permaculture) I aim to cultivate vegetables, fruit, cereals, potatoes and beans and, if possible, to keep small numbers of hens, quail, rabbits, bees and goats.

We are a family of five and have already completed a similar project in Europe. We believe that food and energy security will be major challenges for everyone in the near future and that the best response is resilient communities that share food resources and knowledge.

We have three children and are all well travelled. My husband works in construction and I am a glass artisan who works with crafts and permaculture. We're quiet people who enjoy the simple life.
